Bloodpril Review: The Costs That Are Not on the Pricing Table

The pricing table shows three totals. There are at least three further costs attached to this purchase, and the largest is not measured in money.

Shipping on the entry package

The two-bottle package is $158 plus $9.99 shipping. The three- and six-bottle options include free US delivery.

That structure is deliberate and common: it widens the apparent gap between the smallest package and the larger ones. At least here the figure is stated on the page rather than appearing as a surprise at checkout, which is more than many competitors manage.

It does mean the genuinely correct choice — the two-bottle package that matches the guarantee window — carries a small penalty. Worth knowing, and still worth taking.

Return postage

The published refund terms are unusually generous in every respect except one: they do not specify who pays return postage.

On a two-bottle return that is a few dollars. On a six-bottle return with tracking it is a real cost, and untracked returns are how refund disputes get lost.

Ask when you request your return authorisation. Given how specific the rest of the policy is — 24 hours for authorisation, 7 business days for the refund, any condition accepted — this omission reads as an oversight rather than a trap, and a direct question should get a direct answer.

The cost that is not money

Here is the one that matters. If your blood pressure is genuinely elevated and you spend sixty or ninety days waiting to see whether a supplement helps, that is sixty or ninety days of elevated pressure doing what elevated pressure does — silently, to arteries, kidneys, eyes and heart.

Hypertension causes no symptoms, so nothing warns you that the waiting is costing anything. That is precisely why it is dangerous, and why the calculation here is different from a supplement for tired legs.

If your readings are in the normal range and you are experimenting at the margin, the downside is $158. If your readings are genuinely high, the honest advice is to get them treated properly and treat any supplement as an addition to that — never as an alternative, and never as a reason to wait.

Never change your medication over this

Everything else on this site is about value for money. This section is not.

Hypertension is symptomless. You cannot feel it, which is precisely why it damages arteries, kidneys, eyes and the heart silently over years, and why it is a leading contributor to stroke. Feeling well tells you nothing whatsoever about your readings.

Never stop or reduce prescribed antihypertensive medication because a supplement seems to be helping, or because your numbers improved. Improved numbers on medication mean the medication is working. That is the reading you get with treatment, not the reading you would get without it.

If you want to reduce your dose, that is often a reasonable goal — and it is a monitored conversation with your prescriber, supported by home readings you bring to the appointment. It is never a decision made alone at a kitchen table. To its credit, the seller says this too.
